Parameters are used to transfer data between scripts in PIX Studio. Their names should be unique in one project. PIX supports a wide range of parameter data types such as strings, lists, logical types and others.

Parameters are declared in the special window "Parameters" located at the bottom of the PIX RPA development studio. The value naming is not strictly limited. Parameters are added by the clicking on the "Add new parameter" field. Then the required data type and the default value are selected if the default value had been set. It is possible to add a description that will always be a useful reminder of the purpose of this parameter.
