Create pivot table
Activity is in the Office → Excel interop group.
Allows you to create a pivot table from an Excel table according to specified rules.

In the activity properties you need to specify:

  • The range of data for which the table will be built;
  • Name of pivot table;
  • The starting cell of the pivot table;
  • Row parameters - column data of the source table to become rows;
  • Column parameters - column data of the source table to become columns;
  • Value Parameters - column data of the source table to fill the table with;
  • Function to be applied to aggregate the data.
  • Check flag if you want to create table on a new sheet.
  • The sheet on which you want to create a table.
  • Path to Excel file with the book.

Example
Let's create a pivot table based on this data:

Let's display in the pivot table the total sales (respectively, value parameters - "Sales", function - Sum) of each employee (for this we specify the column "Last Name" in the row parameters) by months (data in the column "Month" - column parameters).

We fill out the activity properties as follows:
